About the Mighty Con: Oakdale are in the Bournemouth Hayward League Div 7 - Its mostly just a bunch of friends playing football together, although we do go out to win the games we also don't take ourselves too seriously. Most of us are good mates and go out on the piss at the weekends, so the social side of it is pretty good. Some of the players have played at a higher standard that what we do now. Some times that shows and we turn it on, but mostly we go a goal down and lose it!

However, the 06/07 season has seen Oakdale Con FC turn a corner. With Steve Fudge taking over has manager and the backing of some of the older players the team has seen a surge in performance. Managing to go half the season unbeaten. Crushing some teams in to dust. Lets home this run of form continues to the end of the season and into the next.
